DUP Tour

DUP Historical and Scenic Bus Tour of Central Utah

When: August 26-31, 2013 (departing the Pioneer Memorial Museum in SLC at 8:00 am and returning to the museum at 4:00 pm)
Where: Visit points of interest and pioneer settlements throughout the central part of Utah, with overnight stops in Richfield, Bryce Canyon, Torrey, Blanding, and Moab.
Who: DUP members only
Cost: $500/person (Double Occupancy) Bus fare, hotels, and meals (excluding one dinner) included

DUP Scholarships

Applications are now available for the DUP Scholarships which will be awarded in December of 2013. If you have a daughter, grand-daughter, or direct female descendant who attending SUU who would like to apply for this $500.00 scholarship and would like more information, please contact Aliene Overly at 435-267-2298.

Music Contest

The International Society of Daughters of Utah Pioneers is sponsoring an original pioneer song writing contest. To enter, write a modern-day song honoring your own pioneer heritage (song needs to be user-friendly to play and a maximum of two [2] pages in length with a vocal range of G below Middle C to D above high C). Songs must be submitted no later than July 24, 2013, and there is a $5.00 entry fee. Winners will receive a cash award presented at the ISDUP Convention on September 28, 2013. The winning song may be included in future DUP songbooks, and will become the sole property of ISDUP. Mail entries and fee to:
